It has come to our attention that door hangers endorsing certain candidates in the upcoming municipal elections have been placed on doors throughout the community. While the door hangers have the City of Justin logo, please be advised that they were not printed by, paid for, or distributed by the City of Justin. State law, Section 255.003 of the Election Code, prohibits cities from using any resources for political advertising in connection with an election (Texas Ethics Commission webpage).
