Open Record Requests

Public Notice

In compliance with the Texas Public Information Act and upon proper request, the Justin Police Department will provide a copy of all information deemed a public record by the act, for a fee and within ten working days of receipt of the request or we will refer the rest to the Attorney General of the State of Texas for a determination.

Records commonly considered to be public record include:

  • Finance Records
  • General Orders
  • Incident Reports
  • Offense Reports (summary sheet only)
  • Policies and Procedures
  • Statistical Information (this will be in the future when we gather the information)
  • Traffic Accident Report (this would link to the database if we can have one)
