General Election Information

The General Municipal Election is conducted each year on the first Saturday in May. The City Secretary serves as the Chief Election Official for the City of Justin and is responsible for conducting all City elections by the Election Code of the State of Texas. The City of Justin will hold a General  Election on May 4, 2024.

The City of Justin Council is composed of a Mayor and six council members who are elected by majority vote from the City at large. The Mayor shall be elected at the regular municipal election to be held May 2023, and Place 1, Place 2, and Place 3 shall be elected at the May 2023 general municipal election. Council members for Place 4, Place 5, and Place 6 shall be elected at the May 2024 general municipal election. All Council members are elected for a two-year term and are elected at large. The Mayor is elected for a three-year term.
