TAKE NOTICE  the City Council of the City of Justin, Texas, shall convene at 5:00 o’clock P.M. on the 22nd day of July, 2019, at its regular meeting place in the City Hall, 415 N. College Avenue, Justin, Texas, and, during such meeting, the City Council will consider the passage of one or more ordinances authorizing the issuance of certificates of obligation, in one or more series, in a principal amount not to exceed $4,340,000  for the purpose of paying contractual obligations to be incurred for making permanent public improvements and for other public purposes, to-wit: (i) reconstructing and repairing various streets and roads pursuant to the City’s Street Improvement Program, (ii) purchasing land for a new fire station and the expansion of the City’s park adjacent to such land, (iii) constructing, acquiring, purchasing, renovating, equipping, enlarging, and improving the City’s Municipal Complex, including related parking, sidewalk and drainage improvements, (iv) purchasing and equipping motor vehicles for the City’s police department, (v) purchasing materials, equipment, supplies, and machinery for the City’s  water and wastewater department and parks and recreation department, (vi) constructing draining improvements for City streets, (vii) paying contractual obligations for professional engineering services related to the construction of City streets and roads, (viii) renovating, equipping, and improving the City’s gymnasium, (ix) downtown improvements, including parking, landscaping, lighting, signage, and streetscaping, and (x) professional services rendered in relation to such projects and the financing thereof, and such certificates shall be payable from ad valorem taxes and a pledge of the net revenues of the City’s combined Waterworks and Sewer System.  The certificates are to be issued, and this notice is given, under and pursuant to the provisions of Texas Local Government Code, Subchapter C of Chapter 271.
